About Us

Founded in 2006, Long Island Energy Partners (LIEP) is a limited liability partnership headquartered in Merrick, New York. The company develops and implements turnkey, energy efficiency and small power projects in New York and New England, in addition to providing energy consulting services.

LIEP provides a full array of professional services, all of which are aimed at reducing energy demand, reducing costs, and improving the environment. These services include:

• Energy audits
• Design and engineering
• Construction management
• Equipment procurement and installation
• Utility and government program administration
• Project financing.

LIEP is vendor and equipment neutral, custom-designing high-quality energy solutions for each customer. Energy conservation measures (ECMs) include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Boiler and chiller plant replacement
• Cogeneration and generator installation
• Compressor and process improvements
• Energy management systems
• HVAC optimization and replacement
• Lighting and controls
• Renewable energy installations
• Water and sewer improvements.

Our Staff

There are three principals at LIEP, each with nearly 30 years experience in energy services, regulated utilities, independent power, and operations. All are intimately familiar with the energy requirements and regulatory issues in New York and the New England states.

Additional professional services and electrical and mechanical work are subcontracted on an as-needed basis. LIEP has established relationships with local/regional subcontractors, or will work with your existing subcontractors at your request.
